The TC Playboys perform a mix of old school country done in a decidedly Texas-style and traditional Cajun songs of Southwest Louisiana. A RAKE AND RAMBLING BOY...

Recently our staff spent several hours on an unseasonably warm day raking leaves in the backyard.  It was one of what the advertisers used to call a “Kodak” moment, with bright leaves against the still-green grass and the surrounding trees and bushes laden with a varied palette of leaves yet to fall.  Before we got around to bagging all this color up, though, it had begun to rain. When we do get around to completing the job it’s unlikely that it will be as pleasant. Nonetheless, this is the time of year when you especially appreciate nice weather. The quiz this month has songs with leave or leaving in the title. Can you match the performer with the song?

01) I’M LEAVING IT UP TO YOU a) The Beatles
02) LEAVING ON A JET PLANE b) Randy Newman
03) LEAVE A TENDER MOMENT ALONE c) Dale & Grace
04) LEAVING LOUISIANA IN THE BROAD DAYLIGHT d) Frank Sinatra
