MARDI GRAS WITH THE BONE TONES

A Twin Cities' Mardi Gras without The Bone Tones? Unthinkable! Fortunately we won't have to experience such a thing The Bone Tones will be back together for the 12th Annual Mardi Gras Party on Saturday, February 26th at the Cedar Cultural Centre. Greg Njoes of Richfield Flowers and Events will do his usual bang-up job of decorating. There will be no costume contest and parade, but costumes are encouraged. Starting at 8 pm there will be opening sets by The New Riverside Ramblers and The Swamp Sextet; The Bone Tones hit the stage at 10 pm. Because the Cedar has limited space tickets are being sold in advance for just $12; tickets at the door (if any!) will be $15. Last time this was held at the Cedar it was sold out, so if you want to go, get your tickets early.

Each of these twelve years is associated with an animal; the new year starting on February 5th is the Year of the Dragon. The quiz theme this month features the animals that are part of this calendar. Can you match the song with the performer?.
