Large main room presents concerts by touring acts. In the past Boozoo Chavis, C. J. Chenier, Buckwheat Zydeco, Dr. John, the Neville Brothers and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band have played the main room. Also the annual Tardy Mardi Gras Party featuring various local acts.
Dance floor is large square area in front of stage complete with Saturday Night Fever lighting effects. Seating is found around the dance floor and on the second floor. Good sound system but sometimes very loud.
7th Street Entry is a second, smaller room. Tends to be louder and more crowded than the main room. Lots of punk , new wave etc., but occasional cool shows like an acoustic Richard Thompson or Brave Combo.
Mainroom shows are divided into early and late shows. Always check for times since the early shows are often done by 10:00. Ticket prices vary for different shows.
