Music starts at 8:00 pm.

Swamp Pop music is what you get when you take youngsters who grew up listening and playing Cajun and Creole music with their parents, and grandparents and then expose them to Rock and Roll. Swamp Pop's first hits happened in the fifties with Rod Bernard, Phil Phillips, Cookie and the Cupcakes, and Lil' Bob and the Lollipops. It continued into the sixties with John Fred and the Playboy Band. Today Lil' Band o' Gold with Warren Storm, CC Adcock, Steve Riley, and friends continue the tradition. 

Here in Minnesota we have many bands who sneak a little Swamp Pop into their shows. The Swamp Pop Extravaganza! is their chance to play a full night of their Swamp Pop favorites. The music starts at 8:00 pm and goes till 11:00 pm.

Admission is a donation of non perishable food. Cash donations are also welcome.
Proceeds go to Second Harvest Heartland.
